| Massimo’s Tiramisu with Pandoro | ||||
| 5 eggs, room temperature 1 lb. 1 ounce grams of marscapone cheese 1/2 cup of powdered sugar 6 teaspoons rum 1 golden pandoro 1 carafe of coffee (approx 10 cups) Optional add 1-2 teaspoon sugar to coffee. 2 oz. of powdered cocoa Preparing the cream: Separate the egg white and set aside. Beat the yolks with sugar, continue to beat slowly adding the marscapone cheese. and rum. In another bowl beat the egg whites till soft peaks form; then add to mixture. Assembly: Slice the pandoro horizontally into 1” slices. Dip slice in coffee. And place in a shallow pan. Repeat until bottom of pan is covered. Then spread the cream mixture till ½ “ thick. Repeat both layer 1 more time. Sprinkle with powdered cocoa & refrigerate 2 hours & enjoy!
