Cacio “all’Argentiera” Serves 4

400 gr. (6 oz.) of caciocavallo cheese
2 cloves of garlic
Sicilian Sunset Olive Oil
1 tablespoon of Balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper
dried oregano

Directions:

Cut the cheese to thin slices and brown with the cloves of garlic in a frying pan with warm oil for five minutes.
Remove from the oil the garlic and add the tablespoon of vinegar.
Reduce the vinegar and dust the pieces of caciocavallo cheese with the oregano. Cover the frying pan and cook for five minutes.
Remove from the heat the frying pan and arranged the slices of cheese on a serving platters. Serve very warm.
