| Strawberry Espresso Torte Cake | ||||
1 8-inch yellow or chocolate freshly baked cake 1 tablespoon Sicilian Sunset Strawberry Honey 3/4 cup Sicilian Strawberry Jam 1/4 cup Ionia brewed coffee, cooled your favorite blend Prepare cake according to directions on box and let cool. In a small bowl, mix jam and honey together. Spread jam & honey mixture on bottom layer. Top with second layer. Add espresso to your favorite butter cream or chocolate frosting recipe, adding powdered sugar by the tablespoon until you get the right consistency. Frost cake. Garnish with shaved chocolate, sifted cocoa powder and/or strawberries. |
