Chocolate Hazelnut Fondue
This makes a great dessert to follow the Aphrodisiac Pasta! Luscious and rich, few desserts are as decadent as chocolate fondue. Because fruits are also considered to have aphrodisiac properties, it’s a two-for-one. With the dippers prepared ahead, it can even be kept in a crockpot on low for a while, meaning no last minute effort for the host. Fondue pots are available from most home stores and mass retailers like Target and Wal-Mart and are reasonably priced; Bed Bath & Beyond even has one shaped like a Hershey’s Kiss for $10!

1 ½ cups chopped chocolate (milk, dark or white)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 Tablespoon Sicilian Hazelnut Nut Cream

Heat ½ cup heavy cream in your fondue pot and when it is warm, add the chocolate and melt, stirring constantly until smooth. Add 1 tablespoon nut cream, stir again and enjoy! Fondue pots are designed so that the fondue is actually prepared on the stove top or in the microwave and kept warm over tea lights or sterno; check the instructions with your pot.

If you don’t want to use a fondue pot, try a microwave safe bowl; heat the cream, add the chocolate and nuke on 50% power in 30 second bursts, stirring after each one, until done. You’ll need to reheat as the fondue cools (if it lasts that long).

For dipping into your fondue, there are lots of options. Try mini-marshmallows, pretzels, mandarin orange sections, strawberries, large pineapple chunks, chocolate chip mini cookies, angel food cake, pound cake or coconut cookies. Pat fruit dry with paper towels or the chocolate will slide off. Try wooden BBQ skewers instead of fondue forks for parties and buffets – no clean up required!

Alternate Flavorings: 1 tablespoon liqueur, cognac or brandy -- Framboise, Grand Marnier, Creme de Menthe are nice. Espresso, Almond and Pistachio nut creams taste great with this too!
